Incident Command System ICS 200 Training (Two Days)

Time: 0900 hours to 1700 hours each day

Dates: Two days
Day 1: Saturday February 7

Day 2: Sunday February 8, 2026

Location: Warman Firehall, 501 Centennial Boulevard, Warman Saskatchewan

 

Course description

ICS 200 is the foundational course for personnel who may assume supervisory responsibilities during an incident. The course expands upon ICS 100 concepts and introduces
• initial action incident management
• supervisory functions
• unified command concepts
• communications flow and resource tracking
• span of control and task organization
• incident planning and multi agency coordination

ICS 200 is the prerequisite for ICS 300.

 

Intended audience

This course is suitable for
• emergency services responders
• search and rescue personnel
• municipal and provincial agency staff
• emergency management and EOC personnel
• EMR and safety officers
• personnel expected to function within the ICS structure at incidents

 

Prerequisite

ICS 100 must be completed prior to attending ICS 200.

 

Registration requirements

Students are required to
• register on VR
• email Fire Chief Russ Austin to be added to the master course list for certificate pre-printing

Student expectations

Students must
• arrive on time both days
• bring notebook and writing materials
• participate in scenario discussions and activities
• complete classroom modules and evaluations

Certificates will be issued to students who successfully complete the training.

 

Required Pre Course Training ICS 100

ICS 100 is mandatory before ICS 200.
ICS 100 is self paced and offered at no cost.

After completing the open book exam, submit it to the same email for certificate issuance.
